Neon Lap Quilt

After being inspired by both the Portland Modern Quilt Guild sample of Michael Miller neon fabric handed out at a meeting earlier this year, and my monthly Patchwork Society quilting class at Modern Domestic, I was inspired to create a neon lap quilt using the selvage strings block designed by Bari J. Ackerman (out of the book Modern Blocks.) This quilt measures 48″ x 34″ and was really fun to make. I see a few more in this palette in the future, a mini collection of neons with grey and a soft white to balance them out. I’ve listed it in my etsy shop here, have a look!
