This year I was approached by Camelot Fabrics with an opportunity to design a quilt pattern using one of their fabric lines. I chose the lovely peacock garden collection designed by Jane Farnham. I was drawn to the color palette and of course, love peacocks as you can see by this peacock paper cut I created a few years back.
For the quilt, I came up with a Diamond Emblem Quilt design, inspired by one of my favorite blocks (Half Square Triangles or HST) and aerial views of english gardens. This pattern is a available as a free download on Camelot’s website, you can find it here! They have a fresh blog with lots of projects and ideas, check them out!
